We remember how it used to be, bumping into your pals in the co-operative in Randolph Street, waiting in the queue outside Athol's Chippy on a Friday night for your fish supper, then being entertained by the man himself in his own inimitable way.
Buckhaven memories
I loved growing up in Buckhaven, coming from Lanarkshire to live in a seaside town was a huge adventure for me and it has never lost it's appeal. What I loved most though, was we all knew each other and chatted when passing in the street. That sense of community is still there to an extent but not as much as when I was young. I loved the beach, exploring rock pools and the smell of the seaweed was just so seaside.
